After a long day of work, taking care of home, and making sure you are taking some time for yourself, it may be tempting to grab a Mc Donalds Happy Meal or the Wendy's 4 for 4 combo. However, the free toy or frosty cannot equate to nearly half as much fun as it is to make a healthy meal with your parent. Thus, we want to encourage parents to take some time to cook nutritious meals with their children. Not only is this a simple way to connect and bond, but it shows them the importance of putting love and care into the meals we create and be intentional about what we are consuming.
